The Original 2.0 is the redesign of the company’s first wallet. While selling well, the previous version had many warranty issues and was inefficient to produce. I sought out to to solve these issues while maintaining the still relevant tactical/industrial aesthetic and price point. 14 prototypes later, the final product reduced individual component count from 16 to 4, reduced in-house machinery requirements from 5 to 1, all while improving user experience, increasing functionality and reliability.
The final product features a cash clip, unique secure closure, bottle opener, light duty pry-bar and lanyard hole.
